Berry Frangipane Tarts

Berry frangipane tarts from The Australian Womens Weekly allergy-free baking
(gluten free,wheat free and yeast free and can be made dairy and egg free as well)

75g butter,softened ( or nuttlex dairy free butter)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup (75g) caster sugar
1 egg ( or NO-EGG products)
3/4 cup (90g) almond meal
1 tbsp (corn) cornflour
150g fresh berries
1 tbsp pure icing sugar

Our tools

1.preheat oven to 180c or 160c fan forced.grease six 5.5cm x 10.5cm loose based fluted tins (we used pie tins lol).place on oven tray.

2.beat butter,extract and caster sugar in small bowl with electric mixer until light and fluffy.Add egg,beat until combined.

Stir in meal and cornflour
.Spoon mixture into tins,smooth surface,
sprinkle with berries.
3.bake tarts about 30 mins.stand tarts in tins 10 mins.carefully remove from tins onto baking paper coved wire rack.
While its baking we are looking for something to eat

4.serve tarts warm or cold.dust with sifted icing sugar
